Once on a year, we spend two nights with our classmates in the center. It like a summer camp but really close to the school. We share time together, we have time to think, to play…

HOW TO ARRIVE

When you finish the bend road, you turn right and you pass along a neighborhood. The school is the next you will find. It’s in the middle of the mountain and the environment is comfortable, and you have the beach very near. This is what you will find when you get to the school.

žWhen we finish eating we go to the playground and have fun until the bell rings at 3 pm, and we go to the class till 5pm.

The Berufliche Schulen am Gradierwerk – www.bsg-bn.de - in Bad Nauheim are located in the centre of Germany near Frankfurt am Main where the first German parliament met in 1848.

Bad Nauheim has a long tradition as a spa town. One of our most famous citizens was Elvis Presley. We live in a rural area called the Wetterau but we are near one of the most important business regions of Germany, the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region.

Our school is a vocational school centre. About 2.500 pupils attend our school and we are about 140 teachers. We have five different branches:

o    Economy and Administration

o    Social Work and Social Education

o    Information Technology

o    Health and Care Services

o    Food and Home Economics

The idea to take part in the project Music In – Stress Out was born in the department Social Work and Social Education. Our pupils and students there should know how to handle „young people aged 14 - 18 who have problems in coping with stress“ (official description of the project).

Apart from that it is useful for all young people from across Europe to take part in bilateral and multilateral youth exchange programs.

OUR PROJECTS

     Our school has got the degrees of the winner, first and second runner-up in the national project contests in Bursa region and in Turkey.     

 At international level, it joined Brotherhood School Projects in Poland, Bulgaria and Cyprus, and also sent 15 participants to Holland and Italy to receive training in the context of a vocational project for women. This PLM project called “Fashion Design Qualification Developing Education (2010)” was a Leonardo da Vinci activity in the EU- Lifelong Learning Programme and we were the partner of BTBO. Our headmistress and one of our teachers of Child Care and Education Department joined a Vetpro project called “Educating Disabled Trainers” and went to England and Poland. Now our school is also the coordinator of a Comenius project called “Music In Stress Out” There will be mobility visits to Spain, Germany, Poland and Bulgaria within the project period. We have got a LdV Partnership project called "Taste the Past". Our partners are from The United Kingdom of Britain, Italy, Poland and Bulgaria. 

We are also a member of LdV Transfer of Innovation (ToI) project called "EUrFASHION". Within the network of EUrFASHION project, our school will take part in the dissemination of the transferred information, skills and experiences about fashion, textile and handcrafts, in which we are experts, among all the schools in Turkey.

HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL

     The idea of establishing a new school in the city of Sliven sprang up in 1947. Its aim was to prepare trained economists.

     This idea came into being in 1949 when the new Trade School was founded.

    During the first decades of its existence the school trained economists and business secretaries.

  The school became a centre of stenography and typewriting.

         
Dimitar Tabakov (1879-1948) was a famous mathematician and the pioneer of the Bulgarian geometry.In 1990 he was proclaimed a patron of the school. In 2009 Professional High School of Economics celebrated the anniversary of Dimitar Tabakov’s 130 birthday.

OUR PRESENT

Presently High School of Economics has 565 students. The educational in the school is carried out in collaboration with the local economic organizations, scientific and cultural institutions both Bulgarian and European. The students are highly motivated to succeed in the future
